Handa Bio Agri Tech Potato Seed Co. is a potato mini-tuber and seed manufacturing company based in Shahabad Markanda, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Since 2018 we have specialised in potato mini-tubers, certified and disease-free potato seeds, tissue culture plants, seed multiplication, generation seed production, potato seed breeding, and seed grading and sorting.
We also supply quality potato seed, provide storage solutions, farming support and agricultural advisory — so that a farmer placing one order gets a complete, season-long answer rather than a sack of uncertain tubers.
Our mission
To put laboratory-grade, virus-indexed seed into the hands of Haryana growers at a price a mid-size farm can actually budget for, and to keep the agronomy on call from sowing to lift.

A mini-tuber is a tiny, 2–10 gram potato grown from laboratory tissue-culture plantlets in a controlled, disease-free environment instead of an open field. Because it never touched infected soil, it starts free of most seed-borne viruses — so a mini-tuber based crop gives stronger sprouting, a cleaner canopy and higher yield than ordinary replanted potatoes.

Yes. Seed is produced under our generation multiplication protocol with rogueing and inspection, grown from indexed starting material, then mechanically graded and packed in labelled, lot-numbered bags. Every lot carries its variety, generation and grade so you can verify what you received.
Certified table varieties run roughly ₹30–₹36 per kg, processing varieties around ₹36–₹40 per kg, and pre-basic mini-tubers around ₹95 per kg — before optional grading, storage and advisory services. Book four to six weeks before your intended sowing window — most Haryana growers sow from mid-October into November. Early booking locks the variety, generation and rate, and gives us time to chit and prepare the lot to your delivery date.
Yes. We hold seed in managed storage until you are ready to sow, and our advisory desk covers seed rate, spacing, irrigation scheduling, de-vining, disease scouting and harvest timing. Contract production clients also get scheduled field visits through the season.
